So I got the SW Motech mirror widener with associated parts... seemed easy enough. Remove a couple of screws and replace with new hardware. Well, right off the bat I ran into an issues. The bolt couldn't get settled in the widener and when I looked I saw it was cross threaded. Is there any easy fix to this problem and is SW Motech known for having crummy hardware? The other widener/bolt screwed right on and was easy as pie so clearly there was an issue with the hardware as I got it. Anywho... I'm just curious if this has happened to anyone else and if anyone has an idea what I can do to fix it other than sending it back and ask them to send me something that actually works.

Is'nt one of the mirror bolts a left hand thread?
YES

I have just transferred my mirror wideners from my TDM to my S10, the clutch side is a standard thread the throttle side is the opposite thread and need turning anti clockwise to tighten.
