Ok guys, not sure this is the right category or if this topic has been discussed somewhere else already.
I did a search, but did not find anything :/

My left mirror keeps moving as soon as i hit dirt or gravel roads, the right one is just fine.
I tightened every nut and screw possible, but still...
It is moving right in the ball-joint.

Any help or suggestion?

Thanks so much!

If it's the mirror and the stalk rotating down, then move the rubber 'boot' back (end of the stalk by bottom) there a nut will be exposed, set the mirror angle and tighten.

If it's just at the ball joint, that seems to be covered with a hard plastic and I don't know if there is a nut under there on the Gen II.

There is likely a spring washer and nut inside the mirror head that can be tightened, I've not had a S10 mirror apart so can't say for sure but I have had other mirrors apart. You need to pry the plastic ring from around the outside of the mirror glass, and remove the glass to get to the nut. Not an easy job and there is risk of breaking the glass, but the mirror is kinda useless anyway if it won't stay in place.

Thanks! Will try.
Mirror is working fine on streets and light gravel roads, but as soon as i get on wash board or trails its all over the place :(
Not good if you have other motorcycles or quads chasing you - maybe i just need to be faster than everybody else LOL

Here's the inside of the mirror. There was some foam and double sided tape on it also. The glass got smashed out on a tip over, so don't use my method of taking it out! There are aftermar replacmemt mirrors, but I don't recommend them. My aftermarket replacement has the same limp mirror issue your having.

Try twisting your mirror a turn clock wise. Seemed to make mine more stable.
It's short term solution I do this at least once a week..
Buy another mirror..
Wonder if you can use a heat gun on the glass to loosen up all the adhesive?
