I have had my Metal Mules for the Super ten for about a month now and done a couple of trips. I can say that they are wonderful. The balanced system with their Scorpion exhaust allows for a pair of 38 litre panniers which are narrower than the handlebars.
(I also have a pair of 45 litre ones from my BM but they are slightly wider than the bars by an inch either side)
They are incredibly well built and my frames are MMule modified to fit to the footrest hanger mounting points as I have removed the rear footrests. These must be the strongest panniers around. I have ridden in heavy rain (Brecon Beacons last week, for those that know Wales) and they were totally waterproof.
I have also bought one of their top boxes but not mounted it yet as I am trying to modify my rack.
