#1: While at the Carson-Tahoe Adventure Moto this past weekend, finally caught up with the only other (Blue) Super Tenere at the event. Lo & behold it was "trilliumliz" all the way down from Ontario, Canada. Per the photo, she is nearly half my size, BUT to watch her put that machine up on the center stand is (forgive the pun) an uplifting experience.

#2: On lunch break in Markleeville, CA, I stop at a place with another Blue S10 parked out front. It was the prolific "tomatocity" finishing a sandwich at the bar. Had a short, but very nice exchange. You meet the nicest people on Blue Super Teneres. This all in the backdrop of heavy smoke from the big fire near Yosemite Nat'l Park.

Cool! Trilliumliz is on a very long solo road trip. I have been following her exploits on Facebook. If you want to look her up on FB, her name there is Liz Jansen Speaks. ::008::

Cheers,

Bruce

Well, I suggest that I skew the statistics on that a bit.
But I'm trying to do better.

Hey Dale - it was great to meet you at the Adventure Moto Rendezvous and Ride. Hope you had a safe journey back. This is my last week on the road. For now. :)

May have missed each other by a couple of hours. Apparently there's a Blue force field focused in Markleeville.

Hi Liz: Trip back to L.A. went well. Lower part of Owens Valley started filling w/ smoke from another fire in Sequioa NP. Be safe on the rest of your trip home. -- Dale
