Hey all. Beyond Starbucks have a ride coming up this weekend if anyone is interested in bringing their bikes out to do a little dirt. Here's some info. So far we have 13 attending so let me know if you are interested!

8:30AM
Helendale Staging Area
9501 Shadow Mountain Road, Helendale, CA
(Assuming no rain)
There haven't been as many intro-level rides lately and after our last ride in October/November, it seemed like there's probably some demand out there for an opportunity to work on off road big bike handling skills. I had planned this back in November and just now was able to find a date that works for most of us.
If you are at an intro level and looking to get some more experience in the dirt, please don't miss this event. There will be as much learned via Q&A as there will be on your bike. We will also talk about packing the bike for a multi-day trip and will go over things you'll need to bring, as well as discuss some common trail side repairs.
Oftentimes we just show up and ride without any kind of practice. This day will be mostly drills and skills in a small area with a short trail ride to follow.
I would recommend knobby tires and to either leave your panniers home or take them off at the site while we are practicing.
