Man it's nice to be back

It's been three months since I've been on the bike or here. The morning I was leaving on a week-long ride to N. Ga. I was going to top the oil off and broke then end of my funnel off into the engine (that really, really sucked). As it turned out it was a blessing in disguise - the weather was downright horrible the entire week, just cold rain every day we were there.

So Tracie and I enjoyed the time together in the car and had a very relaxing week hitting Helen during Oktoberfest and visiting the local vineyards, etc.

So I ordered the clutch cover gasket to pull the cover and retrieve the plastic tip that had invaded my engine. Upon return from the trip work got crazy and then the holidays hit and I never could find time to get the bike back on the road. Finally did yesterday and took her out for a 100 or so mile jaunt this morning. What a great feeling to be back on the bike!

I actually think it was good to take a little break. I could've made time to fix the bike during that period, just didn't have the inspiration to do so.

Either way, I'm back in the saddle (on the bike and here) and it's nice to see familiar names still hanging around - hope everyone has had a blessed and happy holiday season!

Mine was 6 months almost to-the-day. And for different, but perhaps a bit similar reasons.
Regardless, I'm back now too. And was kind of bummed to see you had vanished.

Happy to see you back! You should take a couple days off and come to Romney WV in May and hang out and ride. It's good
to put faces and names together. WV can't beat the roads and scenery and the company will be entertaining.

That was a tough game to watch. I gotta say though, after watching the Oregon game I don't envy Ohio State.
