Well I have had my Garmin 478 on a Gadget Guy mount for a long time on my Beemers, and I really liked it. Unfortunately on the S10, I didn't want the GPS on the handlebars. So after a bit of research, I found that Madstad made an 1/2" bar, and figured I would try it. The Madstad is very nice quality, uber easy to install, and since it shipped from Brookesville, FL it only took a day to get here via UPS . . . ::012:: Without further a do, oh yea, the Gadget Guy mount is the Base Plate II
