Who is running a Madstad bracket on their Gen 2 ST? Are you running it with a stock shield or one of their's? I'm curious if anyone has a pic of the stock shield in comparison to one of the Madstad shields? I'd also like to see a pic or two of the bracket on a Gen 2 bike. A cockpit view would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and ride safe.

I had a MadStad on my last bike. It was one of the best mods I did to it. I plan on getting the bracket for the Tenere. I have an adjustable visor that works pretty good as is -with the good bracket it will be great (for me).

I recognize that bike. Production #13 & my first farkel. Dropped it off at Madstad so they could develop the new brackets required on the 14. It was still minty fresh then, now 20,000 miles later I'm loving it even more.

The bracket is very strong and stable. Some wiggle/flex with the stock Yamaha rubber well nuts and plastic mounting stays though.
Much easier to adjust (not moving) and the tilt function is great. I havn't mounted anything to the bar so can't comment on that.
Some on here have made brackets to eliminate the wiggle, I have not found it necessary (maybe in extreme rough conditions with lots of accessories?). Overall very satisfied with the Madstad setup.

I have the Madstad on my '13. I have mounted a XM radio and my GPS to it with no problems. Not much vibration, and no problem seeing the screens while riding. I have the stock screen on it, and about the only negative I have is the screws holding the adjustment in whatever position you have put it in tend to loosen and the screen will slowly come back and down. I just check them before any ride.

(sorry, no pics. Got to do that some day)
