Also, the S10 has 115 HP compared to 94 on the AT. And you can get ES on the S10 not on the AT.....I say go for the S10

You made a great deal Rizzo. I paid $16431 out the door last month and thought it was a fair price. You are going to really enjoy this motorcycle. Good thoughts sent your way for many safe and happy miles. Cheers from Airdrie, Alberta.

115 would be at the crank with absolutely perfect conditions. Here's before and after a dynojet that I just took off the web and it's 91.32 hp at the tire for stock.

I haven't seen a plot for the new Honda. Peak hp reportedly is slightly more but with less displacement they'll pay for it in having less torque and maybe a bottom end that is not as controllable as on the Tenere. Time will tell.

That dyno chart looks about right. I've see. Some put out more but I'm not sure what mods were done to it but I don't think there is a ton Of hp potential in this motor. Most I've seen is 95 or 98 I think. Rear wheel of course.

Wow. Canadian taxes are nuts. Our local Yamaha dealer here in northwest Ohio has a brand new, leftover 2014 Super Tenere standard model in blue for $10,683. I'd like to trade my '13 just for the cruise control and instrumentation updates.

Actually, that isn't that bad. I have a year newer and and es for less than $4k more. Canadian dollars. I think that works out ok. Remember, our dollar is worth 25% less than yours right now.

Not that it really matters, but I pick up the bike in Calgary this Thursday. Hang out with some friends on Friday and then off to the bike show on Saturday. Should be a good time.
