I have the pillion rack. Finishes off the solo set-up nice. It's the only rack I run. I have no need for their tail rack. If I need the cargo space I just bolt on the oem tail rack with Touratech's spacers.

Cracked my stock plastic luggage rack today so now am looking for a replacement (not handy). Altrider with cubby hole storage, touratech with the pillion option, or maybe win the SW Motech? Choices. Recommendations?

I had the ALTrider rack and liked it a lot. It all depends on what you want. A high rack or one that sits even with the without the pillion seat.
You could lose the seat and just have a pillion rack, the Tourtech is nice for that.
Decisions, decisions.. ::025::

Japako,

Any chance you have the templates for what you made? LOOKS AWESOME.

No, I really don't. When I take them off next time I will make a tracing. What I started with was some measurements and a tracing of the ALTrider rack. What I ended up with was quite different. I change many things as I built it, so the original tracing would not help much.
Thanks

A tracing, scanned, save the scan into the proper software, clean up the drawing and finalize, load into CNC software, and you will make people happy and some cash at the same time. America!

I add the Touratech luggage rack. It also protect the OEM plastic surface from scratches, for example if I put the Giant Loop saddlebag.
The rack in the passenger area is very easy to take off if you want to put the passenger seat. Very clever!

Oh wow, I like your custom grab handles! Or are they the hanger for your bags?

Whith the dual exhaust they need to hold the bafflers so I asked them to make some hangers to hold the bike or to put the centre stand. They did these ones but they’re provisional. They are going to finish all this week so we’ll see what they are doing whit it. The idea is the hangers can be used to fit the OEM panniers.
I’m quite please with them so probably I keep this ones.
