Picked up my new black Super T on the 11th in San Diego. The first ride was 85 miles home from the dealer ::014::. The bike feels great and is so fun to ride. I'm glad I found this forum. I've learned a lot in a short and plan to start modding right away. I have an Arrow cat back on the way already :D

Here is a pic

Hello and welcome to the group. I am in San Diego too. Where did you get yours from? There were a few left at Fun Bike as of a few weeks ago.
I have the Arrow headers and slip on and it makes a huge difference. You will love it. We should get together for a ride sometime.

Thanks,

I'm actually not in SD. I live in Rancho Santa Margarita (south orange county). I picked up the bike from Fun Bike. I had looking to get an Adventure bike for a couple years now. As you might expect the big BMW was at the top of my list. Once I started reading about the Tenere I new this was the bike for me. I originally wanted blue. I found one up in North Hollywood. They had a black as well and just kept looking at the black one. My wife who was with me finally came over and said, You like the black one better don't you! She was right. In photo's I really didn't like the black. In person it was a totally different bike. I love it!! I ended up walking out of the dealer NH after they tagged on 2k for set-up and delivery and would only come down $200. I paid MSRP + TL from Fun Bike.

Regarding your Arrow header. Did you have to tune (re-map) the ECU after installation? I listened to every exhaust sound clip I could find and the Arrow just sounded the best to me. And it was reasonable compared to the other offerings. I picked it up for $495 no tax and free shipping. Next will be the header.

but they wanted an extra 2K for setup and dilivery. I told them to pound sand and left.

Longboard, sounds like you ordered from Pipecity.com? Me too. I like the look and sound from the Arrow silencer. You do not have to remap with just the silencer but will need to with the headers. I got the headers and a power commander and it is a huge difference. You will want to plan on doing this.

Also, look for my post about correcting the off-idle stumble. I assume your CA model will have this too. Airscrew adjustment corrects this.
