I know running trips to Wal Mart is not what you guys bought a Tenere for. You are all world travelers, running single track and eating only what you can catch with your bare hands, but I live and commute on my bike. I never take a car when I can take the bike. A little over a month ago I bought a 2016 Super Tenere with the OEM panniers and top box. I have been on one trip of 2300 miles but mostly running around Ft Worth, TX.

Today I made my first run to Wal Mart with an extended shopping list. Over the years I have become a pretty good judge about what will fit on a motorcycle w/o doing something weird like carrying fruit or a bag of chips in my jacket. I added to the basket the things my wife needed (milk, OJ, dog food, cat food, kleenex, etc) added some stuff I needed (Bud Light, bag of charcoal and new parts for the BBQ grill, etc) and kept thinking OK I am getting close to the limit. At one point I knew for sure I would be carrying something in my jacket or maybe coming back for it. But the OEM bags swallowed it all up, with some room to spare. I only strapped one thing to the rear seat that was too large for the bags. Cranked the pre load on the rear shock a couple of notches to the right and headed home.

::022:: This bike is a jack of all trades. Love it!
