I just bought a 12 ST and it looks like the previous owner ran it with very low pressure. I am looking for somebody willing to sell an spare nipple for the front wheel. Also, I am looking for ideas of where to get a new rim or true a front wheel since this one is bent big time. I am located in South Fl, so if you guys know any local motorcycle tire shop in the area I would really appreciate if you let me know since I am not familiar with spoke wheel and this type of issues.
Thank you for any helpful feedback

I would think finding a good used S10 front wheel would be a needle in a haystack deal. You can contact Woody @ Woodys Wheel Works in Denver and they can straighten your rim. You would have to compare that cost to just buying a new rim and do the math.

Bent my front wheel a long time ago and have searched high and low for a used front wheel without success. Good luck in your search.

Nipple? Like a valve stem. You can order them for peanuts from any online retailer and likely even your local bike shop.

sent from my phone with fat thumbs. please forgive my typos

Do you have the part number for the nipples. I would like to buy a few.

Nope. Just search for valve stems. They are not wheel specific.

I don't think you can buy the nipples separate.

I think he means spoke nipples. We don't lose spokes that easily, but the nipple can fly away.

Look for spokes being sold in the forum's for sale section.

Look up "wheel repair" in your area and contact some of the shops. Some will do moto wheels too. I only know of a shop in Las Vegas for truing wheels, but that's rather far from you.

If by nipples, you mean valve stems... then you can most definitely get them from RMATV. I just ordered them a week or two ago and out one on my Tenere.
"Spoke Nipples" The OP is looking for spoke nipples. not valve stems. You can buy valve stems on every street corner.

I noticed that the Suzuki Vstroms 650 (the bird like looking models) spoke wheels shares the same rim, probably same nipples and spokes as well. Keep hub, and use the outer rims.

Suggesting this if perhaps a Suzuki dealer may have better luck helping out.
This is good to know! I thought the Tenere's rims were unique.

Are the front nipples different to the rear ones? I know the spokes are different.

Tha S10 use the same spoke nipples front and rear.

I doubt the Suzuki and Yamaha would use the same spoke, but even if they did the Suzuki spoke & nipple will cost you twice as much as the S10 spokes. $7.50 vs $3.50

At approximately $3000 + shipping, Kineo wheels are not a rational option for someone with a bent rim.

Partshark has front rims for $404, which is not cheap, but cheaper than a new wheel or sending it to Woodys.

Motorcycle Tire Center http://www.mtclv.com/ Removed my front wheel from the bike, dis-mounted the tire, straitened my bent wheel, trued it in both directions and re-installed the tire, then put the wheel back on the bike, for $45 a few years ago when I rode in. And it all took around a hour.

Other possibilities in South Florida. These mostly specialize in alloy wheels, but are worth contacting. They might be able to suggest alternatives or other shops.

Hey guys thanks for all the replies.
I was referring to the spoke nipple. Steve, I would appreciate your help with that and PM you.
I was looking for a used front wheel and it is impossible to find t. I will call some friends in the area and find a wheel repair shop. I was also thinking about the option to get just the outer part of the rim and lace it with the spokes and hub but I see that not that many people here has done it.
Thanks guys

Thanks for the info EricV, I will contacted right away. I am o getting some rear /front spare ones as a backup from OldRider, it is the a bad idea to have them as an emergency backup and also I found out that from this forum that some of you use zip ties so in case of going lose they will stay in place and not damage the wheel or anything. Just my 2 cents for everybody and thanks again
