Looking for ST owner, near Richmond, for 10 mile ride swap

I am currently riding a BMW GSA and recently completed a 3 week cross country trip. I am 'over' the BMW $12 each spark plugs and $$$ parts, etc, so I am looking for a reliable bike that doesn't require $$$ maintenance.

If you have a 'preferrably' blue colored Tenere in the Richmond area, I would appreciate a short test ride swap down the interstate. I want to compare the vibration and ergos.

Someone allowed me a test ride, so I'll try to do the same. I may be riding by Richmond next Sat on the way to the mountains, back on Sunday evening (weather pending, have some grass to cut up there). Alas, mine is Raven but I think it'll ride the same as a blue.

I'll watch this thread next week to see if you got a ride or note. What general area of Richmond are u located? Sometimes I take I64, sometimes go around I295, sometimes Petersburg (using 460 as an east/west route).

I am located in Powhatan, near Route 288 and I-64, but could meet you near I-295 on Saturday or Sunday. However, I sold my 04 R1150GSA, yesterday, so if that changes anything with you, let me know.

I want to see how fast your bike goes and to feel the sensation of a high speed high-side. ) Just kidding...

Seriously, I am 46 year old professional, and will respect your property. I want to take a short exit to exit ride at 55mph and feel the ergos. I appreciate your offer and will take very little of your time, but promise to offer someone the opportunity, in the future, if I get an ST.

Got it, congrat's on the sale - selling stuff can be a pain these days. I got a deal on my S10 because the seller realized I was serious and he didn't want to deal with craigslist, tire kickers, etc.

Powahatan area is easy for me, I blast by 288 and 64 on my way up. I'll touch base later this week and let you know my plans. Not a problem that you don't have a ride to share....
