looking for riding buddy central tx area 8/11/13

anyone in the lockhart tx. area that wants to go riding early next sunday morning 8/11/13 ? Been thinking about going riding sand hill road be mostly gravel roads with a little sand here and there . never been to sand hill before so not sure exactly what to expect if interested let me know .

As soon as the weather cools, I'll leave the Houston area after work on Fridays for weekend rides wherever. It's just to oppressive right now. I ride to work and that is bad enough.

yep houston is a little far for this ride looking to leave out early around 7 o'clock and be back in lockhart before 12 o'clock before it gets to hot let me know if you want to go riding when the weather cools off .

hey carrot , I'm a Lockhart native born and raised . I'm not sure if I have that kind of time available Sunday, I could probably do breakfast and ill know more about time Saturday... Mr. taco would work for me ,been needing some barbacoa ...

sounds good let me know when u find out if your coming looks like there is a chance of "rain" sunday morning hopefully it will cool it off some . you can also bail out on the ride anytime where not travelling to far out of lockhart .

how does 630am mr taco sound ... it aint going to rain ,im planning on cutting my grass ,wash my truck , and ride, no way it will rain....whether or not I can do a long ride I look forward to meeting a fellow rider ....

had a great time riding with you Carrot, adding those protective items high on list , left my bike out at the house while I was back in lockhart area installing new toilet for my mom, it rained. bike looks pretty dust free now...lol...
