Purchased on 5/6/17: '14 S10, well farkeled, 5k miles. Bonus: seller threw in his custom designed bike rack that he used to haul his road bike on trips. Pics with bike mounted on the back to come.

Oh yeah PLEASE pics for the roadbike carrier. I've seen some creative but others downright scary and looking for a solution.

And Welcome to the forum!

Congratulations on the bike. Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the '14 Tenere!

I've had the same problem a number of times with bikes (and cars) following me home! ::025::

Feral,
Here is a pic of the bike carrier mounted, with bike. I have not ridden far with the bike mounted but could not notice any difference in handling for the few miles I rode with it. No vibration or feedback, couldn't even tell it was back there, but then I didn't get it up to highway speeds. The carrier is a very well designed custom fab created by the seller of the Tenere, who I presume must be a retired Mech Eng. I think he is/was a Forum member here but I don't know his alias. Some of you may recognize the ST from the stickers on the top case, which I have decided to leave on for the time being.
