Looks like that might be a bubble but it is difficult to see.

If there is a problem contact the vendor. I had a separation problem with a rear K60. Took it to the vendor, they contacted the distributor, had a replacement tire in two days.

Yupper, the kenda big block. Warranty would probably be useless as its almost completely gone. Yeah its a 2.5 inch bulge. Sticks out about 3/4" from the base. Yeesh, one good left hander let'n er eat on the pavement and I'd be a skid'n.

if you clean the whole area rather than just the bulge it should be easier to see in a photo. The contrast between the dirty tread and the bulge make it difficult to see the depth of the bulge. Good thing it didn't delaminate on you on the road.

Wow! Pretty scary to have a tire bubble like that. Makes me want to buy quality stuff.

This has nothing to do with quality. A good localized impact can separate the tread from the ply like this. It looks like a well-loved knobby that's probably had it's share of stones and curbs.

That's beyond the control of the tire maker.

I had that on a Continental fron tyre once. Ive never used Contis since, which may well be an over reaction but I dont fancy risking it.

Yeah, I never noticed anything out of the ordinary. Ran like normal. Just happened to look down and glad i did. Oh, btw i didn't clean around the knob. That's just the color of stretched rubber. I'm guessing here as I wouldn't know what stretched rubber looks like. :D
