Forgive me, I'm heading to the auto parts store in a short while.
Attempted a quick search and came up empty handed.

Do the longer oil filters clear the Yamaha OEM aluminum engine guard?

The bigger issue is the concave Vs convex change. Most of the longer filters don't clear aftermarket skid plates. I don't have exerience with the OEM skid plate. Watch that any filter you buy has concave sealing area or it won't quite seal and it will leak. There is a thread here about that.

Measure the distance you have or be prepared to return the filters. Many filters that used to fit, no longer seal due to the convex area where the threads are. It tightens up, but there is not enough pressure on the seal and it leaks.

I've been buying Yamaha filters by the case when I find them on sale, usually on ebay. Takes the sting out of paying too much. Mahle OC-575 also fits and can be ordered thru Rock Auto.

I skipped grabbing one at Advance Auto.

Will order a few Mahle filters from Rock Auto - love them for my car stuff.

Thanks!

(I also really appreciate the coupon codes.)

I actually grabbed a bunch of discontinued Purolator filters a couple months ago from Walmart for$0.75 each.
Like enough to last the life of my bike.
They discontinued all the concave filters to fill the rack with useless convex ones.
I don't have a lower guard so the 1/4" more isn't going to matter and it wont hit the wheel.
I still have a dozen Mahle filters sitting on the shelf, i will use them first.
