Levers and clutch

I am somewhat new to S10s and coming from the dual sport world. I have a 2012 XT1200Z. When riding standing I am a one finger clutch guy and prefer short levers for both clutch and brake. But the Super Tenere has a very hard pull of the clutch compared to my other bikes. One finger is not a real option for extended time off pavement and working the friction zone of the clutch. Can the clutch be modified to be lighter pull and are there good shorter levers?

Type this n the search. Off-The-Road Clutch slave cylinder for lighter clutch lever pull - Install
Or Google it, and Google will show the threads in this Forum. I can never get the search to work, but Google works every time.

I’m thinking there must be something wrong with your Tenere because my stock Tenere clutch lever operates very easily, perhaps the revisor is over full ? Yes I do believe shorter levers are available but have never tried any myself.

Move the clutch perch inward as far as you can. Then adjust the lever reach. It’ll give you a cheater pipe affect. Reviews on the off-the-road unit are mixed. If I knew they helped for sure. I’d probably have got it years ago.

Some clutches can be adjusted on the clutch itself and made harder or softer. Not necessarily in the lever. Mine is far softer than a bike with a cable clutch.
