I have an ACD skidplate and it has done its job well. Let’s see what your running. I lik the ACD as I covers the Catalyst and that seems to be where I need protection. I also don’t mind taking it off when changing oil, as it gives me time to inspect for damage.
The Altrider plate. This is the second time I've taken it off to straighten the brackets and plate. It has absolutely done it's job. The WABDR gave it a good bashing and then this winter working on another version of the Baja California Discovery Route it's was beat up good.
interesting stuff here. leaving the road at 80 mph , what was he doing ? and I guess its how one lands that's important . land flat and slide is better than tumble and tumble better than sudden stop from some object . glad that guy was ok. could the bike be saved ?
