I have an ACD skidplate and it has done its job well. Let’s see what your running. I lik the ACD as I covers the Catalyst and that seems to be where I need protection. I also don’t mind taking it off when changing oil, as it gives me time to inspect for damage. 94CA360C-81E2-4D08-AED2-68F12FBECAE3.jpeg

Anyone notice the custom modified Altrider crash bars? These were new, and cut them down to "Mini" crash bars.

Amazing fabrication skills you have!! Once my plate is thrashed beyond repair I'm going TABASCO style!!

Here is mine. I've had to bang out the dents twice already:

Not great, but adequate. Pound out dents every other oil change as required.

Here is another interesting photo. The owner wrote me nice letter. The owner said the engine was perfectly fine. He left the highway at 80+ out in the desert. Pretty unbelievable he survived. EF666F01-81F1-4560-A9E0-BB2B9E4158D5.png

interesting stuff here. leaving the road at 80 mph , what was he doing ? and I guess its how one lands that's important . land flat and slide is better than tumble and tumble better than sudden stop from some object . glad that guy was ok. could the bike be saved ?
