After agonising over fitting an aftermarket can and then having to decide which one based on data available on the forums and other sources I took the plunge and opted for a Leo Vince One Evo.

https://www.leovince.com/int/en/product/8275

I seriously consiered the Arrow and a GPR Furore Nero as alternatives. It seems that the Leo Vince, Arrow and Akra are forum favourites...the LV was lower cost than the Arrow but the reason for choosing it was the finish on the can vs. the Arrow. It looks nicer IMHO.

I did have concerns with all my options regarding melting indicators, number plates, mud guard and heating up paniers! But I went ahead and ordered based on one comment - lots of forum members run the LV without issue! GPR's answers to my questions left me thinking there were too many unknowns...

Fitting the LV went well. Very simple. The Leo Vince comes with a plain removable baffle fitted and a turned down same diameter baffle was also in the box. I first tried the bike with the plain baffle. Nice, not much louder off throttle or constant speed but a slight bark when the throttle is cracked. I was happy. The bike also seemed to run better but very hard to quantify.

Today I removed the plain baffle. Wow...now the bike sounds like a big twin should sound. Very happy, I will run it like this all the time except when the wife is on the back, we have a 2 week trip to Spain planed soon and I will fit the turned down baffle as it is hidden by the panniers anyway.

Is it too loud without any baffles...No! I love it!

Do any parts get excessively hot? No! Indicator cold to the touch with plain baffle and no baffle. My Givi pannier rack cross support beam added maybe 5 to 10 degrees C over a 2 hour run (still only warm to the touch) and no heat in the number plate / mud guard area. Very happy.

I reset the fuel consumption meter and it went from 62.2 MPG average (1,200 miles) to 65.8 MPG (UK Gallon) (80 miles). I will update the average here after 1,000 miles.

The bike now sounds how I wanted it to sound but it is not offensive or painfully. It feels "nicer" to ride! Can't explain that one...Can I really tell it has slightly higher HP & Torque??? I don't really know!

Hope this helps someone...

Was it worth it? YES!

Thanks for the report. I couldn't find this in where I live and had to empty the pockets on a Akra. Love the sound anyway and it wasn't crazy loud. Baffles are fixed and no way to make it anymore louder. So +1 to LV for having that option.

OK, nearly a 1,000 miles on the Leo Vince and the OB fuel average is up 5.8%! Last 6,000 miles 62.2 now 65.8. (UK Gallon)

Sorry, forgot to add...I just did 800 miles in 2 days with my Givi Outback Trekked panniers on running without any baffles and no heat issues.

Yes the same sound but sounds quite different with a helmet on and with the engine driving in gears...especially when quickly accelerating from low RPM in 4/5/6...much deeper and at times like a Honda SP1 (individual hammer blows).

Hi guys,

Just got a 2010 Super 10 in Australia and I'm chasing an exhaust but all the ones I find on eBay or revzilla say 2012 onwards....will a Leo vince or yoshi 2012 exhaust for on a 2010 model?
Was there any changes from 2010 to 2012??

The end cans will fit all years, the only issue will arise should you want to replace the complete system, and that involves the catalytic converter, the 2014 has a different shape and size.
