Has anyone looked to see if the stock Yamaha 2014 LED turn signals can be retrofit to the 2013 models? Additionally has anyone looked into a retrofit for the 2013 and earlier models for the electronic cruise control? Finally, does the 2014 have four way flashers and if so can those be retrofitted to the 2013 and earlier models?

Yes the 2014 has hazards/four ways. The other questions I don't know. The switchgear is quite different I suspect it won't work without extensive issues/challenges.

Strange we didn't get the 4-way flashers first time around, but did this time.

That right side switchgear with the combo kill-start switch is from the 2013 FJR. I put it on my Tenere way back. Wasn't difficult.

2014 signals have a different connector so you'd need to change that or make an adapter.
I'm game for that...I also swapped my switch clusters on my 2012 to get the combo start/stop/run and hazard button, along with FTP and an on/off switch.

I'm not great with electrical, but if someone can figure out how to change the turn signals I can then follow their lead. Someone out hear wants to do this and I want to learn from them.. Do we have any idea if a new flasher will be required if the factory stock 2014 LEDs are retrofitted to the 2012 Tenere?

I can live without the LED signals, and the 4 ways. What I really have a hard time living without is the high beam flasher trigger. I used it all the time to signal vehicles who looked as if they may not see me coming.

There are at least several threads on how to put them on the Gen 1 Tenere. One is adapting Kaw Versys or other less expensive parts, another is a $150-ish Euro part, and another is late model FJR(?) part. Each needs to be adapted since they will have different connectors.

I got my recall done today and asked about the 2014 turn signals. The part numbers are in the computer, but they aren't available for order yet. I am pretty sure I could modify the wiring, it just depends on how much they will want for them.

I was looking at one of those universal CC kits and while I wouldn't have installed one (on any bike) before - now that there is an OEM switch assembly I wonder if you can combine the new handlebar switch with the aftermarket CC module and at least "look stock"
