I'm thinking about getting the Overland set from Klim and looking for some input from someone out there that have used them.

Whats your intended use? I looked at both recently ,luckily I have a new Klim franchise open up near by so got to touch/feel and try on. I was in two minds whether to go for the overland or badlands but once I had a chance to examine them the badlands won the day given I'm a road rider 1st and foremost given its more robust materials and armour. I'd say the overland is more focused on trail/offroad use and not that geared for highway speeds being lighter construction.

I've got the Overland jacket and pants. They kept me dry during my trip to Alaska during all the rain. I tried the Badlands jacket but felt it was way to heavy for me. YMMV

Thanks for the comments. I will use it mainly for commuting and weekend road riding during the colder months. I have other gear I wear for off road riding, so I'm not too worried about that. I currently have a pretty heavy jacket for touring and when it gets cold and I'm ready for something much lighter that also offers wind/rain protection that I can layer up under. I've never owned a Klim jacket but the reviews for all their stuff is impressive. I almost got the Misano before I spotted the Overland.

I've ridden with KLIM for several years and have switched all my gear over to them. Yeah, it's a bit pricy, but it delivers in every way... Quality materials, waterproofness, comfort, and longevity. With respect to the Overland line, I'll say that although it's not their pinnacle product, it is mine. The jacket's enduro fit with it's non-cinched waist is reminiscent of some of my older gear and it's a fit that I prefer. Excellent rider-neutral comfort with adequate ventilation and not too overly featured. Discreet yet well placed reflection panels. Ideal neck adjustability, fit, and comfort. Lower hem draw and extended tail keeps draft and moisture out. I'm average framed and find that the generosity of fit not only allows for great breathabilty, but also for proper and flexible layering options.

Although I have the pants, I tend toward the Latitude pant as I prefer the gator approach and snap seals at the cuff, and they're not quite as finnicky in the knee armor. The Overland pant with their generous enduro fit do tend to have the knee armor drift some.

Best to find a place to try them on or use an online source with a liberal return policy. Revzilla works best for me.

I've been riding for over 40 years. the Klim stuff is the best I've used. I have Badlands Pro and Traverse jackets and Traverse and Dakar pants.

Bit more expensive that most stuff, but its value for money all the same.
