BTW, thanks to Paul for letting us know about this.
It's the least I could do for a good man and a good friend. You're very welcome!

Rod,

Wanted to say something meaningful for you and your wife:

The power of love to change bodies is legendary, built into folklore, common sense, and everyday experience. Love moves the flesh, it pushes matter around.... Throughout history, "tender loving care" has uniformly been recognized as a valuable element in healing.

Hope that helps....

Anthony

The wife and I were very fortunate to meet up with Rod back on June 15th at the HD dealer in Loveland Colorado. In the short time we spent with him we came away feeling like we knew the guy for years (which is very rare). Both of us wish for a successful operation and a speedy recovery for Nancy. Our thoughts and prayers will be with both of you.

Paul & Karen..

I'm up and around early here this morning (got up before 3:00). We will head for the hospital in about 2 hours. Surgery at 8:30. I hoping to have all good news to report later this morning.

Thanks everyone!

I just met with the doctor. Nancy's surgery went great and she is now in recovery.

They had to remove about one foot of her colon (originally thought that two feet would need to be removed) and her stay in the hospital will likely be less than expected, assuming things continue to go well.

Thanks everyone for all your prayers!

Mighty fine news, old son. Glad to hear it. Good thing that doctor didn't make me have to come down there.

Keep us posted. R
