My wife and I lived in Edmonton for six years (1979-85) and the length of the winters was one of the factors that drove us back to southern Ontario. I recall one Halloween evening when we had a cold snap. It was -30 C., and in order to take our then three-year-old son out trick or treating, we had to bundle him up with a snowsuit and scarf over his costume. Even at that, we could only stay out for maybe 30 minutes tops.rem said:Snowing again this morning. Just sayin'. We are not amused. R ::007::
