'17ES. 'Cuz life changes quickly, and being able to adjust quickly is a good thing.

14ES , at the time it was 1000 Canadian Diff to go with the ES model. For the money you got the ES suspension, heated grips, factory cruise. Well worth the cost.

Might buy a 2016 Tenere. Specifically because it is not ES. Tried both, and really couldn't find that much more appealing about the ES. Also when it wears out. And it will wear out. How will that work? Don't want to have to think about that.

Love my ES. I use it all the time. Its fantastic on the dirt roads, makes the washboards disappear with a flick of a switch. I also change the preload often according to the total weight of the bike. Love it and would buy the ES model again.

2016 ES here, never bothered with adjusting suspension manually on any of my other bikes, but use the ES for 2 up and rough roads. Handles like solo when set for 2up
