You should see the picture of the bike after they found it and before they dug it out. Bike standing vertical, gravel up to the top of the seat. I am glad my buddy made it through this, though. It gets scary at submersion.

I have a really cool video from 1926. Real Adventure Riding. Not sure how this was filmed. Must be parts done from an plane.
Its a couple of guys crossing the Dolmite Mountains. I'm not up to speed on imbedding pics or vids. But if someone who is could send me their email, I could forward and you could imbed. Thks.

thfraser! Actually most of that Road Racing was in Northern Ireland. Isle of Mann racers only leave 1 at a time. Not near as dangerous as the likes of the Northwest 200 in Northern Ireland I attended in 2008. Most exciting racing I ever saw especially compared to what we have here in North America. I was able to watch the race laying in the ditch 2 feet off the pavement. Quite the adrenalin rush watching Rutter on his factory Honda come at you at over 200MPH on a bumpy, narrow road. Sure blew my hair back. ::26::

RED CAT never been to the Isle of Mann to see the races, but one day I hope I can see it in person. I know some of the footage was from there, but it doesn't surprise me that is a compilation of races. Still like the video and the song though!
