We are now in fairbanks and i just finished riding the Dalton. The S10 handled every thing the road had to offer, though it was no where near as bad as I was expecting. There had been a lot of rain recently and the road still had enough mud to keep it interesting along with the incredible views.
Heading of to do the Denali highway in the morning and then the Nabesna road before top of world highway.
Looking forward to some more challenging rides in the next few days.

We have now been on the road for three weeks and have done 9500km so far. The S10 is going great and handling everything we have come across up in Canada. Had a great ride on the Top of World Highway with lots of mud and great views. We also road the Denali Highwy which was about 200 km of rocks and deep gravel which was not the best road for the bike but the scenery made up for it.
We are now in Watson Lake and heading south on the Alcan and will be heading to Montana for new tires before continuing on highway 2 east to Wisconsin .
A few pics of the rides.

Glad you're still having fun! I hope you managed to do a meal at The Bus in Hyder. Best food in town!

Depending on your direction of travel, there is a good steak place in Cashe Creek, B.C. On the North end of town, a log cabin type building. The first hotel you get to after that is also nice and clean, and reasonably priced.

Keep having fun and posting. ::008::
