I received some legal paperwork in the mail this last week -- the good kind. Yamaha just sent me the paperwork for my extended warranty, which is good until 2019! I want to give a "shout-out' to Sean, who works in customer service for Yamaha in California. He was an excellent help in finalizing the details and paperwork for my transaction. You might think this is boring and routine. However, I have had a two year nightmare experience with a different manufacturer (who shall remain nameless due to settlement requirements). Receiving EXCELLENT customer service, with the help of a company employee who really went to bat for me, is so refreshing that I really want everyone on the forum to appreciate Yamaha just a little bit more. Seriously, I think I can safely and conservatively say that I am now a Yamaha rider for life. They have completely changed my mind and attitude about motorcycle manufacturers. And if you ever speak with Sean on the phone at Yamaha customer service, please tell him that Archer is a big fan of his excellent work. ::015:: ::022::

Glad to hear of your excellent experience. It's that kind of support that keeps customers coming back. ::008::

The only motorcycle dealer in my area that treats me like a valued customer sells KTM/Duc/BMW...... and they serve free lunch on Saturdays. It's a customer appreciate event but all riders are welcome, I sometime show up on my Vespa just for grins. The knarley adv. riders and the Star Bucks riders shake their head in disgust.

The only good Yammy dealer in my area closed his doors about 18 months ago. He was a single line dealership that relied heavily on Yamaha marine products. When Yamaha marine started pushing product his way that didn't sell well in the local market he locked up and opted out, shame really.
