Anyone tried to install this?
My bolts didn't fit so I'm on the hunt.
Did your fit?
Did you buy M8 1.25 70mm class 10 bolts to make the mounts fit?
Did you mod the stock heat shield or use the tim they sent?

Thanks everyone, having $2500 in crap sitting on the floor because they didn't send the bolts is driving me crazy!

Hey Happy, haven't heard from you in a while. What problems are you having? Are you mounting Jesse racks & luggage? "Tighten up kit"????...... If they forgot to sent hardware, I'm sure a call to them would get you the parts you need. Are you installing racks? I just installed the racks & luggage on mine. The instructions they sent were not the best. I relied on YouTube to get me through some of it. I thought I would never figure out where the bracket went that goes behind the shield in front of the muffler. You where talking about modifying the heat shield...... I did notice the left rack does ride up against the heat shield slightly. I did shim my left rack (washer between rack & mount surface). It is still very close but, will work. If you are to get bolts today, might be difficult. Check to see if Fastenal in Mesquite (I-30 & I think Big Town Blvd) is open today. They should have what you need for bolts.

The bags and box are topnotch, so are the brackets! but WTF man? Why don't they have instructions for orientation of the spacers? I'm shocked at the high quality and lack of paperwork. Now, i know we are adventurers at heart, so install is, in this case, and adventure too?

The bag install is pretty straight forward, but with the tighten up kit that is for removing the grab handles and narrowing up the mounts 2 inches, no luck so far.
I just removed it all and rode stock today because i was so frustrated!

Yeah, I tried to remove the grab handles......no luck with clearance. Had to make some adjusting on the latches.

I just bought spacers the equivalent of the thickness of the grab handles. You ain't gonna pull the brackets in the same amount that the handles added, the brackets run into more than the muffler cover. Then I played with spacers some more because most manufacturers want the bags splayed out in front, I wanted them perfectly parallel. Then I pulled out a carpenter's level and made sure they were perfectly perpendicular. Fun fun.

I left my Jesse bags out wide as they were easier for me to install that way.

It took me a few weeks of looking at the top case parts before I had the guts to assemble it. But, it was easier than I expected.

I really like my Jesse bags. They are certainly worth the cost and lack of high quality instructions.

I bought my Jesse's used and this is what I was told by the PO also. I like keeping the grab handles as I ride 80% of the time bagless anyway. I did take a look at fitment when installing and couldn't imagine everything pulling in the entire spacing of the grab handles. I did find online instructions and while not the best they were adequate. Since my hardware came all mixed in a bag it helped identify which spacers went where.

I installed mine as narrow as I could get - even narrower than the tighten up kit would allow - I was able to use the stock bolts.

THis required removing the passenger handles, using the Jesse Exhaust shield, trimming the luggage loops and smushing the taillamp plastic surround.

It wasn't comfortable for my passenger, it didn't really save all that much space, and I couldn't install my altrider rack with the cases that narrow, so I moved them back out by using the Jesse tighten-up bolts and spacers along with the passenger handles and the stock hardware - I think that is the best overall compromise.

I'd recommend just playing around with all the spacers until you get the narrowest combo that leaves the stock passenger handles in place.
