Had same thing after long trip. Dealer cleaned it off and said, that there is nothing critical in there, but a U-joint and if it comes back , they will change seal. Yeah, right. 
How is u-joint not critical? I don't know. It rides fine now.

Same after a long trip as well. Add to that 500Km of washboard and bumps and a bit of oil was appearing around the rear vent as well.
Not worried. I cleaned it off. It is all good. Seen it a few times.
