Can someone tell me if the bolt in the pic look normal after 4000 miles ?

The discoloration is normal. both of my S10's have done it.

Yup, they are subject to a lot of heat every time you ride, there isn't really much to be done for it. Even if you coat them with moly or something when new, but maybe *maybe* not if you routinely disassemble, clean/moly and reassemble - but really that's way too much effort unless you're pretty serious in something like racing, off-roading, etc.
