Is the easiest way to brighten up my dull grey bike, decals? I really wish my bike was white with red decals, but it isn't.

Check into the DIY hydrographics.

Maybe some cherry wood side covers for the "Woody" look?

Choose your color combo and add OE decals, pin striping, rim stripes and even powder-coated crashbars. Tastefully done it'll be unique and the only one around.

You can have a vinyl wrap done for a couple of hundred dollars, depending on what you want. I had my upper side panels done for less than $100. Of course, I should admit that I had mine done in satin black w/o any graphics. Matches the LineX on my 8.2 Gal tank nicely.

Some people might be happy to swap tank and panels to get your color, giving you their brighter colors. Just a thought. I'd have been happy to swap matte gray for my Red, back in the day. Too late for me now.

Looks a lot like the last one did. LOL Black 2012 before, black 2015 now with most of the goodies moved over.

Lately I've been commuting on a Genuine Buddy 150. A tad smaller than the Super Ten.

Vinyl wrap is a solid choice that is reversible if you ever need to remove it, or buy OEM panels in the colors you want (actually not too expensive).

OR....you could do something else.

My bike was originally grey, and the Previos owner did a homemade paint job with a rattle can and bed liner. It’s yellow and black and I love it—also meant I got the bike for a song. I put a couple of Worldcrosser decals on it and it looks awesome. I was originally planning to let a buddy with a sign shop wrap it with Vinyl, but the matte yellow gets a ton of compliments from other ADV folks and has been very resilient. If you have the skills, or know someone who might paint it for you, custom ::017:: paint is another option.

Vinyl wrap is a good choice. I did mine back a year or so ago and have a thread on it.

Once I scratch my beautiful Cobalt Blue, wrap will be my choice. I've used the rattle can wrap on other things with good results. The thicker you spray it, the easier it is to remove when you decide to change. Until then, I'm stayin' with the Blue.

I also didn't care for the matte grey of my new to me 13 so I painted it. I liked the 14 Yamaha Racing Blue so that's what it got. This certainly isn't the easiest way, although not that hard, but it is time consuming.

"They" say that silver/gray is the most popular color in the country. I prefer white on my vehicles, but the Cobalt Blue is beautiful in the sun.
