Instrument shelf - cheap, easy, looks great!

That looks great, I was looking to do something like that also and couldn't figure out how to really secure the left side of the panel. How much room do you have when it is full turned right and left?

There are absolutely no interference issues. I have at least 1 inch of clearance between the forks and shelf at the point of closest approach.
