I doubt that I am the only one to notice the blinding glare when the sun hits the instrument cluster. Has anyone made a glare shield to mount on the panel? If so, could pics be posted. Is there an aftermarket glare shield available?

I have seen this exact issue, recently in fact. I am going to look into one of those cell phone screen protectors, the "anti-glare" ones. Cut it down to size to fit the instruments.

double down on what tomatocity said. traveling north on the freeway in the afternoon and I cant even read the thing. Lean over, shield it with my hand for a moment and read what I need. Pain but it is only on certain occasions. Thought I was suffering alone

We've also had a couple of people have the sun through the windshield melt areas of the instrument cluster plastic. This idea ought to help.

I received the Nushield protector and put it on a couple of days ago. I took it out in the very hot and bright sun today. It seems to work well. No glare. ::012::
