I was very impressed with them on the highway and then I adjusted my body position from sitting forward on the seat to sitting closer to the back of the seat. That's when my bike felt REALLY buttery, unstable and wobbled a little. This was at 65-70mph. Hoping after the break-in period these tires feel better on the highway!

Then I took them offroad and loved them. Waaaay better than the OEM Battlewings.

I installed my 805 rear just before Christmas and an end-of-year ride. I now have nearly 2000 miles on it and so far -- particularly for a $90 price tag on Amazon Prime! -- am very happy. Tire pressure on the road (95% of riding on it so far) at 32psi. (corrected)

I put on a set of shinkos after the stock battle wings. They are nobbies so they wander a bit (specially on grooved roads) is what people told me. I liked them a lot. I'm at about 4k miles and deciding to get a new rear put on. mostly cuz of the reduced off road grip.

You run 42psi?? My tire says max psi is 33 for front and rear. If I recall even Shinko's website says max 33psi for the what is the 59Q 805? I thought 33 for front and rear was odd but that's what I have both tires at. Should I reconsider? Thoughts....I'm all ears.

I'm curious about that too. I've looked around and haven't seen a reason why it's okay to have more psi than the tires max psi

Probably shouldn’t run above the max on the side wall. I noticed the 705 radials are 42 max though.

they say 33 psi max on rear, going 9lbs over is that a potential problem safety wise.... ? my riding buddy has a pair on is liking them a lot.... good price point.

Great tire! Just about ready to start my third set. I tend to get 8k out of the rear if I run it all the way down. The front should go 10k....but they are so cheap as a pair I just end up replacing them both usually. They feel great on all road surfaces and feel just as good as my PR4's in the wet. A great value.
