I thought the farkle bug was strong on my KLR. HA! This bike has my poor eyes blinkered beyond anything approaching normalcy. It's addiction, I tell ya.

Had it less than a week and these are all on the way:

MR Vario windscreen
SW Motech footpegs
SW Motech bar risers
Flashing brake light module
Upgraded Philips headlight bulbs
World crosser stickers (love that Yamaha classic stripe LOL)
Shorty brake and clutch levers
Clutch mod

Someone stop me. Or don't. ::019::

There are unctions, potions and lotions to help with the problem but it's best to just let it run its course. Get it out of your system and be done with it. Now get some pics up and lets see how bad you've got this farklin' bug. ;D

Hooray! Just ordered:

Yamaha factory skid plate
Tank protector/grip
Aux LED lights (need a mount)

Oggling some more aggressive hoops for my un-paved excursions. K60s or maybe TKC80s? Maybe something a little more street friendly? Decisions...

See, the list will grow. Sheesh, it's only been 5 days! :)

K60s last 10k easy on the street. Not bad for all conditions either.

If I ever post my list one it will be to win the most farkled bike award, or two, the bits would be for sale. I don't see either of those two going on at all!

If having a long farkle list is a sign of insanity, then thank you EricV for being more nuts than me. Of course my somewhat shorter list is X2 for each of my Teneres...so maybe I'm not so sane after all.

Don't be silly DD, that's not my list, mine is much longer than that. It's just a suggestion of the sickness the OP may be in for? ::025::

Jeeze, I have weird things like fuel cell, voltmeter, hydration jug, flasher mod, soon to be CC with FJR left side switch gear mod, etc on my list. It's not pretty. ???

Ok, ok...some of you guys have REALLY lost your minds. I thought I had it bad! :)

It is actually refreshing to see others with a deep passion to empty their wallets. We can call ourselves the EWC or Empty Wallet Club.

Now, I'm going riding!

Things Ive added to mine:

Madstad adjustable mount
Bigger factory windscreen with the side deflectors
Motech risers
Motech skid plate
Nelson Riggs soft saddle bags

Now I just want to get some saddle bag mounts to redo the way the bags sit

Just keep in mind that the stock "skid plate" is more of a brush guard. Several ST's around the world have had a hole popped into the sump when coming down wrong on that plate.

I am pretty sure this is a standard with all motorcycle riders, on all bikes.

I did this on all of the bikes I have owned and do currently own. Both my Tenere and Victory Vision have received varying degrees of farklization. I tend to lean more toward the functional farkles than the cosmetic ones.

Are you talking about the plastic plate that comes stock or the Yamaha aluminum plate?

the yamaha plate because of the way that it mounts to the engine instead of the frame.

Right, got it. I don't plan on thrashing the S10 too hard so it won't be an issue for me.
Burnoil,
Just remember, it is an unspoken action, that if for any reason the significant other is around during a function, to NEVER discuss the dollar values of said Farkles. My dad and brother were out to visit last summer, when wife walks out into garage. My brother pipes up and says, "oh and the saddle bags, well there was another $1000" Wife caught that and said "above the price of the bike?" A quick under the breath yeah was spoken by me, then she walked away. That made me go and hide in a room and add it all up. I shouldn't of done that!!!! Anyway, enjoy the farkling!!!

Well...I am single and no kids so I can pretty much farkle all I want! Uhhh...on second thought that just sounds DIRTY. The one thing I won't do is add up all of the items. I could have bought another bike, most likely. :)

Hoebster beat me to it, but yea the aluminum guard. Being in SoCal, there are still plenty of gravel strewn roads. I picked up an Altrider plate from another member here, and it's beefier than stock. I'd love to get the Rumbux system (and it will work well with my Givi bars), but it's out of my budget for now.
