My employer gave me an award of 650 points which i can exchange for a $650 visa gift card. I'm having trouble deciding on what to buy and need some ideas. The following is a list of items i've considered: ipad mini 4 or air with gps for offroad navigation (but i already have an iphone), sidi crossfire boots (but i kind of like my tech 2s), upgrade my truck's stereo (but the stock stereo is pretty good).

As you can see i havent found that one really cool thing that i'd like to have.

What would you buy with $650?

Plan a trip that you otherwise wouldn't take, then go. Or, get something you wouldn't normally spend so much on, like a really good riding jacket. Or buy tires for the bike and wear them out.

Where do you want to go? What part of the country have you not seen yet? Arkansas? Look up Mena, AR and the Talamina trail to OK. Great riding. All kinds of options. Buy the wife a nice dinner.... in Maine, on the coast. ;D After riding there.

If you're married or have a significant other, buy them something nice first, then you get a free pass for a good long while.................

A new helmet! A new pair of heated gloves as one of mine died. Which brings up the issue of why cant I find a pair of heated gloves that also have good crash protection?

if I have extra coin I send school supplies to the Philippines or send some money for the school I help to have a monthly cook off so each child gets at least one full meal for the month.

If we all gave rather than buying more crap we don't need the world would be a great place.

Somewhat, arguing over the Syrian refugee crisis someone I never thought particularly bright said "if I needed shelter for my children somewhere else I sure hope people would open their doors and help"
Hard to argue when one looks at history.

With that said Stepping over starving children in SE Asia changed me forever.

Nah, with today's prices you can only afford one if you want a good time
