I found something similar under my 2013 S10 (not sure if it's the same but found it under similar circumstances). It turned out to be the gromet where the right side panel (battery side) fits in. To fit the panel you first press its centre into a groment and then turn the four easy-fit screws. When I removed the panel I must have pulled out the gromet with it rather than pulled the panel out of the gromet.
Not this either. I checked the parts fiche and those have a hollow center. This bumper is solid.ovi said:
