I wonder if our cops on Harleys can do this?

I have one of the "Ride like a pro" dvd's. It has definitely help me ride better at slow speeds.
Very basic stuff like head up, look in the direction of the turn, slip the clutch and drag the brake and you can do most anything. Just takes practice.

I would love to see this type of competition riding in the States. It didn't look like they did too well in the dirt though.

Never saw riding that extreme on Ride Like a Pro. I practice the RLAP techniques but am only willing to push the techniques so far with a shiny undamaged bike. Perhaps everyone should have a salvage bike to beat on and hone their skills.

I saw a video about a year ago. Smaller bikes, much faster and tighter turns. I wish I could find it to post. Now that was amazing.

I was thinking the same thing.

How could you not get dizzy enough to throw up doing that. Man, lots of tight circles!

Wow on the Harley rider!! Years ago, I took the MSF Instructor training and one of the chief instructors for the class rode a big Harley bagger. He was GOOD, but no where near as good as the guy in the video.

A better question would be which bike requires the greater skill to maneuver like this, a wallowing hawg or a nimble metric bike??

Well the Harley is a "stable platform" so that might help, certainly not twitchy. ??? If you watch it carefuly he is using a lot of arms to flick it. You need to be very agressive on the side to side pitch but with that it still would be stable. That and a lot of practice! ;D

Impressive riding on the pavement, but they looked pretty lame in the little bit of dirt riding they showed in the Japanese video. The cone stuff kind of reminded me of treading a tight single track section as speed in the tree's in a enduro.

some random video from myself and a friend from our local riding area, as usual the helmet cam doesn't show how steep it it is.

Cool riding trails. I like that way that tree just jumped out and caught your front wheel and fender. ;D

Don't think that you'll be covering much of those tracks with your S10, especially that ridge line that you rode over where it drops off really steep in both directions.

That was my buddy on his crf450x honda, though I did stall out on my CR250R yesterday and had to push my bike up the hill. The ridge line is fun, but it does make my 14 yr old daughter nervous when we ride it. The video with me riding is in the weblink on a Husqvarna TE250. You do know I am going to just have to take the S10 there, but only when its dry.
