There's a 'tion word for that... Procrastination. Patience does sound better.
It's only procrastination if your time is not 100% utilized. If you are 100% utilized, then it's known as prioritization. ;)

Yes, crazy, but today was the first time I've ever sat on a Tenere. I've ridden with folks that have them, but I know better than to ask for a ride too soon, less I get the lust too early and not in accordance with my financial plan. :D

I was out and about and stopped in at a dealer that had a Tenere sitting out front. I didn't get a chance to talk to the lone sales guy since he was on the phone the whole time, but I did take a sit. The seat will be going in the high position for me. The ergos felt good. It came off the center stand easily...you all know these things already.

I also checked out the Husqvarna TE310. One amazing thing about that bike is that it has a little rear brake lever right above the clutch lever. Ingenious! Motocross boots make it hard to actuate the rear brake. Isn't progress grand?

For now I'll go back to dreaming and wait for Spring.
You sat on one and it DIDN'T follow you home. Gosh that is some resolve!! ::001::

I'm all for you not getting one! >:D Who is going to take care of this awesome web site if you are out riding all the time? We need you working, so when we come back from riding we have somewhere to post all our stories ::025::

Did I mention it was blue? I apparently only purchase black bikes, or so my track record seems to state. Hey Rem, where ya at, buddy? I'm going to need some help in here I think. ::025::

The blue bike will feel okay initially, but over time it will become uncomfortable, it will rust more readily, it will attract more bird shit, bugs will stick to it longer, and it will turn your crotch green. You know what to do. Glad I could help. R ::007::

Venture I've spent so much time studying your avatar trying to figure out what's on the seat, that I never even noticed you didn't have a Tenere. No wonder my wife thinks I'm oblivious.

You need one of these things. They make everything in life better. I'll guess you are disciplined...September 14th.

As for the seat...is it beer? That's my best guess, but even with a magnifying glass (yes, I did) I'm just not certain.

I sat on one for the first time almost exactly a year ago at the IMS in NYC. It was blue. Now there's a blue one in my garage. Draw your own conclusions ... 8)

Yep, Ithica NY's finest, which honestly wasn't all that fine.

Ithica NY's finest? Ouch, that's getting close (at least geographically) to Utica's finest, Utica Club. I don't think I've ever had a worse beer than UC. Hope Ithica does better than that.

::026:: , except for maybe Genesee. Either way, I'd suffer through a PBR over both of those.
