JT just to finish on this subject my set up will look like the one above from Roger - with out the light bar (seriously looked into a light bar but could not find one with a bracket for the T10 and most do not have a low/high beam) - thanks

Nice set up Roger !

I ended up buying the Denali D4. I have the harness, dry seal high low switch and data dim dual intensity controller. I was hoping to use these independent of the headlight low/high position. Just on/off hi, low.
The directions show to positap into the headlight wire. I would think that’s not what I want to do to accomplish what I described above.

Any advice? I’m a wiring idiot and don’t want to fry the ecu or anything else!

If you don't want to connect to the hi/low headlight switch, it's easier. You should be able to connect to either a relay set (recommended) or directly to the battery. Denali should have guidance for that.

The rest is easy enough, but I’m not sure on the positap to a switched wire. I have no wire testing stuff. I think I can do this if it wasn’t for that. Hate to pay the dealer to find a place to tap that wire….A83AD383-4ED1-494F-A858-76289E0C6B2F.jpeg

The aux lighting connector is under the right cover on the bike. It's a white connector with three wires going into it.

You just unplug that cover and then there's a +12, ground, and a switched +12. All the connections in your diagram can be made to this plug.

The second product there will plug into the aux light harness and you can chop up this cable and interface it with your lighting harness.

@audiowize hey thanks for the tip. I was able to tap right in to that connector. The mechanic at my dealership agreed completely with you that that was a better option than using any sort of a wire tap.

I'm doing the same and found that aux outlet with the three prongs on my bike. I'm getting the splitter and power lead. Which wire goes with which? My lights have three wires - black, red (with inline fuse) and green. The Beaver power lead has black, blue and yellow. My instructions say the black is negative, red is positive, green is "+ACC(Power Anti-Loss", whatever the heck that means. I'm going to solder and shrink wrap but want to make sure I do this correctly - black with black, obvious, but what about the other two? Thanks!

This is a good time to spend $10 and buy yourself a simple digital volt meter. Put the black probe on the chassis of the motorcycle or battery negative since it's convenient, set the meter to volts, then probe the three possibilities. One will be +12V with the bike off, one will be +12 with the key on, and the other will be ground (0V in both cases).

OK, so which of the two wires from my kit, the red or green, goes to the 12v bike off and 12v key on? I'm assuming the red is the always on so that would go to the former, green to the latter?

Take the kit harness you have and plug it in. One wire will read +12V with the key off. The other two will read 0V with the key off. Turn the key on and one of the two remaining wires will go from 0 to 12V.

I have the Denali D4, ordered the mounting bracket and harness directly from Denali. My S10 is 2014 with AltRider bars. If you want a picture let me know.
This is not my bike but I have the same setup

I've considering the Denali bar mount, but I don't prefer the placement of the lights. I want them a bit lower and see that I could attach to my Altrider crash bar. Has anyone used Denali's Articulating bar clamp mount? https://denalielectronics.com/collections/all-mounting/products/lah-00-10300-b I've tried a few of the Amazon knockoffs and they're crap. This mount is pricey but I think might work more solidly. Any opinions from anyone who's tried these, let me know. Thx!

I haven't tried them, but I wish I had. I "made" the Amazon mounts work, but it was a challenge making the lights mount pointing the right direction because of the bends and angles of my Altrider crash bars. If I had to do it again, I'd give the extra money for these and save a lot of "making things work" time.

On all my bikes over the years that I put extra lights on I would use a split shaft collar and weld a tab on them to mount the lights. I see Denali has stolen my idea! haha.

Holy sh-t, that's some serious lighting! AuxTex, you've mounted your lights exactly where I want mine. I'm gonna buy the Denali clamps and will report to all how they are. Thanks for all the replies.
