Well crap!............After many days of trying to decide which direction I wanted to go on saddlebags for the bike, I decided on the Happy Trails Mojave bags but had to wait a couple of weeks due to major bills rolling in like birthdays, vehicle insurance and a daughters first prom on top of trying to make this old house I just bought semi livable (toilets that flush and not throw it back in the floor is wonderful). Went to order them yesterday and while looking at the page it refreshed and in an instant the Mojave bags went from $451 to $557 dollars!!! HOLY $***!! That much for 2 Cardura bags and a metal rack to hang them off of. Guess this is a lesson for me not to be broke. Question for anybody that has these bags, are they worth it? Would you buy them again?

Muffintop Industries is a one man show in South Dakota and it looks like Wendell is coming out with a new website. But for that money you could have his welded aluminum brick outhouses for panniers.

+1 on the Muffin Tops. Wendell was awesome to deal with (I got the first 9.5" wide box he made) and his product is fantastic. I mounted them using SW-Motech QR racks, and they've been rock solid.

I like hard metal cases but they do tend to get in the way at times and are not cheap..
Received the cases good material but complete crap craftsmanship!! The side latch was missing the pin and besides after I looked it over I decided they would be huge with the HT racks.
I did find my Gray case and am happy now..
