Hi there!
I found this forum looking for information how to remove the back tire from an S10 and 'came to' about 3 hours later, having learned quite a bit about the S10.
I have a whopping 37 miles on my 2016. I went into my local Kawasaki/Yamaha dealer a couple of weeks ago to find out my 2006 Connie needed a bunch of work... not unexpected work, but things like a carb rebuild (my S10 is the first fuel injected bike I've owned), and I just didn't like the Connie enough to want to spend the money, so a few scribbles of pen later I owned a new S10.
Previous bikes:
1981 Yamaha XJ650 Maxim (long gone)
2001 Harley XL1200C (still own)
2006 Kawasaki Concours
I commute a bunch on my bike as well as some overnight rides. One of my riding buddies has a GS and always laments not having someone to ride in the dirt with. In South Jersey there are tons of dirt roads to ride in the Pine Barrens so we'll see what kind of trouble we can get into. I hear 600lbs bikes are a blast ride in the deep sugar sand.
AtlRider has a chunk of my last paycheck, but I haven't had the time to put the bits on yet. I'm planning on making a 'how not to install' video when I do get around to bolting things on.
I'm still paranoid about engine break in as I've never owned a new vehicle before, but my goal is 100K miles on this bike.
Thanks,
Ed
