Just bought an absolutely stunning used 2013 matte gray Super Ten and I'm thrilled! They seller had really decked it out with goodies and I put the cherry on top by adding a few mods of my own. It all started like this...

Last year, my boss moved the office to Telluride, CO for the summer. My school-teacher soon-to-be wife had the summer off so she came with. I bought a used KLR 650 just to have out there (leaving the Harley V-Rod and Ducati Monster at home) and we both loved it. So, for our honeymoon, we did a two-week ride through Ireland on a rented 1200GS. Also LOVED IT! BTW-Celtic Rider in Dublin is a great outfit if you're considering something similar.

Anyway, I was hooked on adventure tourers and found this S-10 on Craigslist at a super deal that I couldn't pass up. Picked it up two weeks ago, and sold the KLR immediately thereafter. This is not to ding the KLRs by the way- they are excellent, indestructible bikes. Just not really built for long-distance touring with a passenger.

Anyway, we're now planning a Thanksgiving ride to the Ouachita National Forest and spending wheelbarrows full of cash trying to get everything we need to stay warm, dry and not-lost in the process. ::001::

I've already learned a lot by reading through dozens of threads and I look forward to being part of such an informed and enthusiastic group of folks. Cheers!
