How much is too much?

What is the maximum safe combined weight for two people + gear to ride with? I'm currently running on OEM tires, OEM suspension that is set on high, and a few standard farkles like skid plate, crash bar, panniers that will add a little weight.

I believe the owners manual states 450-460lbs.

Total cargo. Rider(s) + accessories + luggage

Having said that, the OEM rear shock isn't sprung for that. Nor is the dampener up to the task.
Once you remedy that though, she carries max load with aplomb. The frame and motor are stout and hardly object to pack-mule status.
