Day one for my 2012 Tenere was August 9, 2011, it now has 38000 troublefree miles.
Day one for my 2014 Tenere ES model was August 9 2014, it only has 247 miles.
Day one for me riding street bikes happened back in 1973, since then I have accumulated 533,824 miles.

45 xxx km. Will most likely put it away for the winter over 50 km.

6 month riding seasons suck. and my new now sold FZ9 didn't help with matters. 5.5 Km on that from March till June.

I don't believe you, I'm sure it's only 533,815 miles, but who's counting. ;D :D

Well, I'll bring up the rear with my pathetic 20,000 miles July 31,2011. An excuse I have has been six months earlier my daughter was born. It's still fun!

Good evening all:

I bought my 2014 on May 30, 2014, new, 2.5 months ago, 5/30/14. Two weeks of that time, maybe three, I was on vacation and not home to ride. Today hit 9879 miles. I am still on the original Battle Wing tires, and they still have some miles left on them. But I'll probably get to 10K miles on these and switch to the K60s that I bought from Jaxon at RideOnADV, whether the original tires are ready for switching out or not.

I can not believe I have gotten this kind of mileage from this original set of tires, based on some of what I have read on this wonderful forum. I'm going to separately post on this tire mileage.

Happy night to all.

I need a vacation.

Funny, I remember when I always had more miles than you. Those days are long gone.

The blue one which rolled out the door about 90 minutes after Trevor's, just went over 25K today. My wife confiscated that one from me 6 months after purchase when it only had 10k mile.
The black one purchased Feb, 2012 rolled over 30k yesterday. Hardly big big numbers by any standard, but for a guy that rides only one day a week for 46 weeks a year, it's the best I can manage.

3 years old this month, 82k miles. But to be fair, 10k of that happened in 10.5 days, immediately followed by another 7k in the two weeks after that. And 8k this last June / July during a month long Alaska / Yukon trip.

My February 2012 purchased Blue will likely roll past 20K today...embarrassing numbers in this company. But like you, she only gets out one or two days per week, and it's not every week. :(

Of course, this is the longest I've ever owned a single bike, and she ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Given the high-mileage potential, maybe Yamaha will do something really cool for a 10th Anniversary Super Tenere in 2020 that will be worth taking a look at. ;)
