still no news on my side, other than " we are working on it".
Did not pay msrp, a little less, but i bought other units from dealer as well so loyalty counted in my favour

at the Toronto Show in Dec,a couple of dealers were willing to discount $1 000
considering the economy, who pays list now
but there are always people with more money than brains

I didn't have any choice regarding MSRP. Take it or leave it. Next closest dealer is about 2000 miles away. Hard cheese. R

We got some discounts, free first service, no PDI or freight ... I'm quite happy with my dealer. They did good by me. No complaints here. R

I paid $15,347 so I must be one of the smart ones but I had to pay $600 tire tax, $155 licence fee, and $150 for the red key, accessories +15%, and $2,000 trade in allowance for my 04 WEE so I think I ended up paying about $19,000 for the bike. Guess I ain't to smart ether. But I'm a happy camper.

Lot of shy Canadians here not using the members map; it's nice to see where the other members are from.

Down to check the shipping today, its out of Montreal and should be here by the 10th.
I paid just over$17000 tax in.P.d.i,freight,licence included and 20% off any extras.
I think pretty good price.

I can't remember the phone number but you can call 411 and ask for Yamaha Canada at 480 Gordon Baker Road Toronto, Ontario. Dial that number then ask for Ruth. She has the power!

This sounds like a dealer issue, Vilage .... if you have your deposit receipt, etc., then I'd expect some answers from him. If they are not forthcoming in short order, I'd get back to Yamaha Canada with that information. Sounds like someone screwed up. There may be an explanation, so give them both a chance to figure things out ..... if still no results ... Vinny and Guido are at your disposal. R

Got same problem as Vilidget but here in states. Problem with the order that was supposed to be placed in March. Dealer says they have it worked out now, but its going to be a while before a bike shows up. I asked him how long are we talking, his reply, SHOULD BE LESS THAN 2 WEEKS.
