Howdy! I maintain a little motoblog (a place to express all the two-wheeled stuff I can't talk about with my lovely wife, because she hates my bike habit). But I thought folks here might enjoy it. Much of what I learned about the Super Ten has been gleaned here, so many thanks for all the wit and wisdom. The entry is called Horse Trading: http://wp.me/p3QZZ5-bh Hope you enjoy it!

I did enjoy that! Very nice.

But the Triumph marque seemed to be ignored in the process.

No worries, you ended up well.

You know, I have a couple of friends with Bonnies, and I have to say: for reto-Brit cool, Triumph. For performance naked (SpeedTriple), Triumph. But for an ADV bike? It kinda seems confused to me. So despite the favorable reviews and fans of the Tiger, never even made it onto the radar screen for me.

Congrats on the Tenere, nice write up. Your going to love it, first bike I've owned that looks better with a coat of dirt on it.

Great read. Your internal musings were much like my own when choosing a bike that it made me laugh in several places. The redwing video at the end was interesting though lost on me. Im a Danner man BTW....

I like yourself came by the S10 via the cons of all the others manufacturers rather a first choice and I think that is true of many folk. Got there eventually and well worth all the previous disappointment trials and dodgy dealers. ;)

Your report was a real treat. Thanks! I too am anticipating a long and happy relationship with my '13 white ST. Ridden a little more than a 1,000 miles so far, and it has been great. I am thinking this will be one horse I will keep and ride for a good long time. ::021::

Thanks for checking it out, gentlemen. Enjoyed a 100 mile Saturday AM dawn patrol ride. I can't contain my pleasure. It's SOOOO much more comfortable and enjoyable than my former F8.
