being seen is first, fashion last in motercycle safety, if people at a glance think you are some kinda motor officer, that only helps.... but even i like a little fashion, so the gear has to look right. if you like the gear, and it looks good you will feel good about gear and wear more offen...hi viz is best for being seen, but some times i like a different look, but road rash has no appeal, so even ugly gear is better than no gear...one day your closet will be full of stuff you dont wear any more. as in my closet, dont like the color any more , got to fat it dont fit any more etc.....but gear is survival...........

The jacket looks a decent bit of kit. if your store doesn't have the colour you like just go mail order, you may even get it cheaper...

Colour is such an emotive subject, the choice is ultimately yours, best of luck ::008::

After wearing the Police White for more years that I care to count, I now wear Hi Viz helmet, Jacket and even my winter gloves have I viz insets on them. I like it, I feel comfortable wearing it and that makes me feel safer.

One can only hope that bright yellow will be noticed by someone texting while driving 77 mph. I wear it along with the green cover for my led light bar. You can see green a long distance away. One still has to drive with caution.

The folks that see me, see me.
I think Im noticeable to those that are looking. Those that are "aware"

But there are those that don't see me. They aren't looking for me. They aren't "aware".

It's survival out there. Every day. Every trip.
I gotta see THEM.
I gotta look around.
I gotta be "aware" of the exact ones that aren't.

Hi Viz is the way to go in my book. Out on the two lane highway near where I live there are a lot of bicyclists that ride, some wear hi viz and most don't. I can usually spot the hi viz wearing riders at quite a distance which gives me a chance to move over. Sometimes I dont see the non-hi viz wearers until I'm right up on them. Of course hi viz is not a fail-safe to distracted driving, which is all too common these days, but I feel that it will give you an edge.

I went with the exact same jacket, I ordered a white one.
I have heard good reviews and am very anxious to receive it.
When it comes to mesh in the warm weather, I love getting as much air as possible.
I sure hope this one will not let me down, I like Olympia.

Good choice on the High Viz. Having had a couple cars thank me for wearing it, that let me know that beyond my own personal protection, others knew it was hard ot see bikes and wanted a bit more flash as well.
